1. About This Policy and This Program

This Privacy Policy describes how Fellowship Intelligence LLC ("we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with the Still In Charge student AI governance initiative and its associated website and materials.

Still In Charge is a free, sponsor-funded program that provides schools, students, parents, and community partners with practical guidance on responsible AI use. The program does not collect student data and does not offer student accounts. Every resource, the student reference guide, the parent guide, and classroom materials, is available to anyone, with no sign-up and no data collection of any kind.

2. What We Collect

We collect only the minimal information required to operate the website and administer our partnerships:

CategoryWhat It Includes and Why
Basic server log dataStandard web-server logs may include IP address, browser type, pages visited, and referral source. Used only for site operation, security, and aggregate analytics. Not used to identify individual visitors.
School & sponsor contactsThe name, title, and contact email of the representative managing a partnership or sponsorship. Used only to administer that relationship, and never shared for any other purpose.

No account is ever created for a student. No student ever provides personal information to use any Still In Charge material.

3. What We Do Not Collect

The following is never collected, stored, or requested:

Student Accounts

No accounts, logins, or profiles of any kind. All materials are public.

Names or Student IDs

No real names, usernames, or connections to school information systems.

Progress or Behavioral Data

No completion records, badges, time-on-page, click patterns, or navigation history.

Device Identifiers

No fingerprints or device IDs. No location data.

Sensitive Personal Data

No health, family, financial, biometric, photo, or video data.

Social or Third-Party Login

No social media profiles or third-party login data.

4. How We Use Information

We use the limited information described above only to:

  • Operate, secure, and maintain the website;
  • Understand, in aggregate, how program materials are being accessed;
  • Administer school and sponsor relationships; and
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations.

We do not use any information for advertising or marketing to students, behavioral profiling, or any commercial purpose beyond operating the program. We do not engage in targeted advertising, behavioral profiling, or the sale, rent, or transfer of personal information, consistent with applicable state student-privacy laws including SOPIPA and applicable state AI-education laws.

5. Information Sharing and Disclosure

Fellowship Intelligence LLC does not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We share information only in these limited circumstances:

Service Providers

We use third-party providers for secure hosting and email. They are contractually restricted from using any data for purposes other than delivering services to us.

School Partners

Schools may receive aggregate distribution data, for example, the number of materials downloaded in a region. No individual personal information is ever shared, because none is collected.

Sponsors

Sponsors receive no student or school data of any kind. Sponsors receive only public-facing recognition as supporters of the program.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government authority, or where we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to protect the safety of any person.

Business Transition

If Fellowship Intelligence LLC undergoes a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, any successor will be required to honor this privacy policy.

6. Children Under 13

The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA, 15 U.S.C. § 6501 et seq.) governs the online collection of personal information from children under 13. Because Still In Charge serves middle-school students, children under 13 are an intended part of our audience, and we protect them by design.

We collect no personal information from any child, and we offer no accounts. All program materials are publicly available without a sign-up and without data collection, so there is no personal information to gather, store, or consent to. If we ever became aware that we had inadvertently received personal information from a child under 13, we would delete it promptly.

7. Data Retention

Data TypeRetention Period
Server log dataRetained up to 90 days for security and operational purposes, then deleted.
School and sponsor contact informationRetained for the duration of the active relationship plus 2 years.
Student dataNone. No student data is collected, so none is retained.

8. Security

We maintain reasonable technical and organizational security measures. All data transmitted between your browser and our site is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS. Access to the limited partnership contact information we hold is restricted to Fellowship Intelligence LLC personnel who need it to administer the program. The strongest protection for student data is that we do not collect it in the first place. We do not store financial information, government IDs, or sensitive personal data of any kind.

9. Website Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-respecting tool that sets no cookies, collects no personal data, and builds no individual user profiles. Analytics data is aggregate only, we see how many people visited a page, not who they are. We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any advertising-linked tracking on student-facing pages. If our analytics approach changes, this policy will be updated to reflect it.

10. Sponsors and Partners

Still In Charge is funded by corporate sponsors and community partners who support the program's distribution in exchange for recognition as supporters of responsible AI education. Still In Charge does not promote, recommend, or endorse any AI product, platform, or tool. Sponsor acknowledgment on the website does not constitute an endorsement of any sponsor's products or services, and sponsors have no access to program data.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the program evolves. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version. For any material change, particularly any that would affect how we collect or use information, we will post a notice on the program website before the change takes effect.
